SUMMARY:TACTICAL EMERGENCY CASUALTY CARE (TECC)
DESCRIPTION:January 30–31\, 20279:00 AM–6:00 PM both daysArizona Tac
tical AdventuresTuition: $60012 Student Maximum\n\n\n\nIMPORTANT: STUDEN
 T REQUIREMENTS\n\n\n\nThis is a physically active\, hands-on\, scenario-
based course. Students must be prepared to lift and carry another adult\
, sprint\, run\, make rapid changes in direction\, and operate in dimly
lit training environments.\n\n\n\nUnited States citizenship is required
to attend this course.\n\n\n\nStudents must also be capable of safely pa
rticipating in physically demanding training for extended periods of tim
e.\n\n\n\nNO LIVE WEAPONS ARE PERMITTED. Unit Solutions will provide tra
 ining rifles\, handguns\, and ammunition.\n\n\n\nDESCRIPTION\n\n\n\nThis
two-day Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) course teaches students
how to respond to and manage traumatic injuries in high-threat environm
ents\, including incidents involving one or multiple casualties.\n\n\n\n
Instruction incorporates updated 2026 TECC guidelines and trauma care pr
inciples\, emphasizing the application of medical skills in realistic\,
dynamic environments. Students will work through both individual and tea
 m-based casualty scenarios\, developing the ability to assess\, treat\,
communicate\, and evacuate injured personnel while operating under stres
 s.\n\n\n\nThe course combines classroom instruction\, hands-on medical s
 kills\, scenario-based training\, active shooter response\, and CQB fund
amentals.\n\n\n\nMedical instruction will focus on recognizing and manag
ing life-threatening injuries and applying TECC principles in practice.
Students will perform trauma assessments using the NREMT trauma patient
assessment framework and develop treatment priorities based on the patie
nt's presentation and environment.\n\n\n\nStudents will work through sce
narios involving themselves and other casualties\, including immediate l
ifesaving interventions\, airway management\, breathing and ventilation
 considerations\, hemorrhage control\, shock management\, casualty moveme
nt\, and evacuation procedures.\n\n\n\nThe active shooter component intr
oduces students to the fundamentals of responding to an active threat wh
ile simultaneously managing medical problems. Students will learn how to
operate individually and as part of a team while balancing threat respo
 nse\, casualty care\, communication\, and movement.\n\n\n\nThis portion
of the course includes force-on-paper and force-on-role-player scenario
s\, allowing students to progressively apply the concepts before transit
ioning into more dynamic training environments. Professional role player
s and special effects equipment will be utilized to create realistic sce
nario conditions.\n\n\n\nStudents will also be introduced to fundamental
CQB concepts related to active threat response and casualty management.
The emphasis is on understanding how medical care integrates with movem
 ent\, communication\, team operations\, and the changing environment.\n\
