Nocturnal Performance is an intermediate night-vision application course focused on efficiently running a rifle and handgun under NVGs. This course is designed for shooters with prior formal training. There is no extended classroom lecture and no beginner-level instruction.

Training begins with movement preparation and coordination work, then progresses to two-person movement drills and white-light integration. As ambient light fades, students will conduct visual-acclimation work under NVGs before transitioning into structured performance-based rifle and handgun drills.

The course culminates in coordinated two-person movement under night vision, followed by a structured course of fire. The focus is performance, accountability, communication, and efficient weapon handling in darkness, not introductory instruction.

This is NOT A BEGINNER course. Students must arrive with a solid understanding of:

  • Safe rifle and handgun manipulation
  • Movement fundamentals (Solo & Team)
  • Basic two-person communication
  • Low-light safety principles
  • Proper setup and operation of their night vision device (NVG)
